Blood Issue Process: Treating doctor's requisition, blood group verification, compatibility testing and final release from blood bank counter.

Who Can Donate?
- Age between 18 and 65 years.
- Minimum body weight 45 kg.
- Hemoglobin and vitals within acceptable range at screening.
- General good health and no acute illness on donation day.
Temporary Deferral Conditions
- Fever, active infection, recent surgery or uncontrolled chronic illness.
- Recent tattoo/piercing, recent major dental procedure, or high-risk exposure history.
- Recent blood donation within the advised interval.
- Any condition assessed as unsuitable by the medical officer.
Important Donor Instructions
- Have a light meal and drink water before donation.
- Carry valid identity proof at the time of registration.
- Avoid smoking/alcohol around donation time as advised by staff.
- Take rest for a short period after donation and follow post-donation instructions.
